Basecamp in partnership with Overhang Adventures is pleased to offer a unique indoor to outdoor program, designed to provide you with the fundamentals needed to transition your climbing skills outdoors.
This 3 part course (2 x 3-hour indoor classes and 1 day outdoors) is designed for experienced lead climbers ready to make the transition outdoors. The course will cover such topics as crag etiquette, anchor building, rappelling and much more.
Below is a list of minimum climbing and belaying experience and personal gear required for the course:Minimum Requirements:
6 months leading (if 2 or 3 sessions per week)
1 year leading (if 1 or 2 sessions per week)
Participants must be within a 50lb range of each others weightRequired Gear:
60m Rope (per pair)
Day 1: Tuesday at Basecamp from 7-10PM
Day 2: Following Thursday at Basecamp from 7-10PM
Day 3: Following weekend outdoors with Overhang Adventures (8-hours, details to be confirmed with instructor)

Participants will be required to pass a lead test before the classes can begin

*Cancellation Policy: A minimum of 2 weeks notice before the first class must be provided in order to receive a full refund. Any requests to reschedule or cancel within 2 weeks of the event will not have the deposit refunded or rescheduled to a new booking.
